Refund policy

All sales are final, unless the item arrives damaged or not as described. An exception is made for all shoes. For our policy on returning shoes, see “Shoes” section below.

To start a return, please email gerbthrifts@gmail.com with pictures of the damaged or “not as described” part of the item. Please include "RETURN REQUEST" in the subject line.

 

Items may NOT be eligible for a return if the specified problem was highlighted in the product's description or pictures. If your item is deemed eligible for a return, you will receive a full refund, including any taxes or shipping fees.


If your return is accepted, you will be sent a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send the item. Items sent back to GerbThrifts without first requesting a return will not be refunded.

Shoes

All shoes sold on GerbThrifts.com can be returned within 10 days of receiving for a full refund, if they are not worn or tried on by the customer. If a shoe falls apart or becomes excessively damaged after minimal wear (ex.: sole falling off of a vintage sneaker after only a few wears due to age of the glue), it can be returned for GerbThrifts.com store credit (gift card) if within 6 months of purchase. To start a shoe return, please email gerbthrifts@gmail.com with pictures of the item and the reason for return.


Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon receiving it, and email gerbthrifts@gmail.com immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so that a return can be started if appropriate.


Exceptions / non-returnable items
Due to the pre-owned nature of all GerbThrifts products, some items may have stains, holes, or other visible signs of wear. To the best of our ability, all signs of wear or defects are shown in each product's pictures or descriptions. Please inspect all details of the product before purchasing. An item may be deemed ineligible for a refund if the reported issue was evident in the product listing prior to purchase.


Refunds
After inspecting the pictures you send of the item you want to return, you will be approved or disapproved for a return. If approved, you’ll receive a shipping label for your return, and instructions on how to send it back. Once the item is scanned into the shipping carrier system, you will be refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund.
If more than 10 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return and you have still not been refunded, please email gerbthrifts@gmail.com, or DM @gerbthrifts on Instagram.
